Dana’s Thoughts on Breast Cancer

by

I’ve been absolutely honored to work with Dana Bledsoe, our Perricone MD Brand Ambassador and QVC On Air Host. I’m in complete awe of the grace and spirit she’s shown during her fight against Breast Cancer.

October has special significance for me as it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For all of us who have been touched by breast cancer, I wish you great strength. As my doctors said to me: “In one year, you’ll look back and say, ‘What was that all about?’ At the end of your treatment, know that you will gain clarity and insight. If I can share something that truly helped me with anyone going through this struggle, it is this: think of breast cancer as a chance to change the way you approach life. I often say to myself that yes, maybe I was supposed to change a long time ago, but I didn’t need to be hit over the head! But, maybe I did. Your outlook is your reality and I have to tell you, I never saw having cancer as bad. I never asked, ‘Why me?’ I didn’t have a pity party. I told myself, ‘You’re allowed two minutes a day to cry. After that, be strong for yourself and for the others who love you.’

I would love to help women gain back their days and their health. Incorporate Dr. Perricone’s lifestyle tips, which includes eating well, enjoy your time and every day, no matter how bad you feel, try and get dressed up. Remember, you must never give in to breast cancer.

Stay strong,

Dana

What are your tips for maintaining a positive outlook during struggles?

  1. It is great to see Dana looking so healthy and vibrant. The guy standing next to her in the photo isn’t too shabby either.

  2. Dana, you are as beautiful inside as out. Your strength only magnifies your beauty and your philosophy is so accurate for cancer survivors or not. In your picture your “glow” is obvious. If that’s all Perricone…WOW ! I believe a lot is from your heart, attitude, and taking good care of yourself, but your skin is amazing and I know perricone products have done a wonderful job in aiding your skin to it’s epitome of beauty.
Take good care and continue that beautiful smile.

BTW, you looked SENSATIONAL at Lisa Roberson’s opening of her new Friday night show ! Loved your hair, eye make up, and yo
ur outfit ! WOW girl, you’ve been hiding all that from us !

    I wish you God’s best !
