  1. I am a huge advocate of nuts and seeds as well! Sprinkling ground flax, chia seeds or raw walnuts on oatmeal and salads are excellent ways to incorporate these tasty suoerfoods. I also like almond butter on gluten-free low glycemuc black rice toast for a pre- workout energy boost.

  2. I mix chia seeds with my oatmeal to camouflage the taste and on top I add some nuts. Plus I have a glass of all natural grapefruit juice with Super Berry with Acai.
I know I had started my day in a very healthy way.
    Perfect breakfast!
    Happy New Year!

  3. I am in love with eating nuts, I soak Almonds in water and keep it for a couple of days before eating them to believe it will be less acidic in the body and easier to digest it, I love to eat Walnuts with cheese and a piece of Whole Grain Bread, also use in salads, sometime I make food with it along with Pomegranate Sauce or Juice, I eat all other seeds as well in salads or as snack, even I add Pumpkin and Sunflower Seeds to my Oatmeal and Salads. The bottom line is we can add all the Nuts to Salads.

  4. I am in loved with the combination of flax and chia seeds, grind those and mix them in juices (100% unsweetened), on the go, or add them on just anything!

    • Hi Yolanda. Dr. Perricone doesn’t recommend eating bread regularly. If you do choose to eat bread, look for bread that contains oat, barley, spelt and flax seeds.

  5. My husband loves to crunch. I am trying to get dry snack recipes to put in his lunch instead of chips. Any great mixes would help. thanks
