Forever Young: Mountain Pose

Forever Young highlights several yoga sequences for beauty, health and longevity.  Mountain Pose is the first pose of the Strengthening Sequence, designed to increase bone density and overall strength.

Mountain Pose

  1. Stand with your feet parallel and hip width apart.
  2. Place all four corners of your feet on the floor.
  3. Lift your thigh muscles by drawing your knees up toward your hips.
  4. Shift your weight back slightly.
  5. Go deeper: root your feet into the floor to get a rebound effect.
