Thanksgiving: Cranberry Sauce

by

Cranberries are rich in antioxidants and have high levels of vitamin C.  This cranberry dish uses Stevia instead of sugar as a sweetener and makes for a healthy, colorful garnish to Thanksgiving meals.

Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • ½ cup water
  • Stevia
  • 1 orange, peeled and pureed

Preparation

  1. Place berries and water in saucepan and cook over high heat until berries begin to pop. Stir continuously to prevent sticking.
  2. Add desired amount of Stevia to sweeten as berries gel. When everything is completely dissolved add orange and mix.
