Cranberries are rich in antioxidants and have high levels of vitamin C. This cranberry dish uses Stevia instead of sugar as a sweetener and makes for a healthy, colorful garnish to Thanksgiving meals.
Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- ½ cup water
- Stevia
- 1 orange, peeled and pureed
Preparation
- Place berries and water in saucepan and cook over high heat until berries begin to pop. Stir continuously to prevent sticking.
- Add desired amount of Stevia to sweeten as berries gel. When everything is completely dissolved add orange and mix.
- Refrigerate to chill.
Yields: 1¼ cup
