Take It Outside

Summer is a great time to move meals outside.  Add a summer twist to chicken and other proteins by preparing them on a grill!

Grilled Miso Chicken
Yield: 4 Servings

Ingredients:
1/4 cup yellow miso
2 tablespoons mirin or rice wine vinegar
2 teaspoons tamari or soy sauce
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon chopped ginger
4 6-ounce boneless skinless chicken breast (boneless salmon filets or firm tofu slices can be substituted)

Garnish:
2 tablespoons chopped Fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon lightly toasted sesame seeds

Preparation:
1. Combine marinade ingredients in small bowl.
2. Pour over chicken, tofu, or fish in a shallow dish.
3. Cover, refrigerate and marinate for 2 – 4 hours.
4. Grill, bake, or broil.  Garnish with fresh cilantro and sesame.
