Start Tea-sing!

by

The term white tea refers to tea that has been minimally processed (air-dried and only slightly oxidized). Among all types of tea (green, oolong, black), white teas contain the highest levels of anthocyanins. White teas should be steeped in hot water—well shy of boiling, about 165 degrees Fahrenheit—for five to six minutes. This will ensure full flavor and a minimal caffeine yield of only 5 to 15 mg of caffeine per cup, versus 20 mg in green tea and 40 or 50 mg in black tea.

Have you tried any of the delicious new white teas available in your local market?

  1. Been guzzling white tea since January. Seen a slight decrease in redness on my face. However my immune system is awesome, I think it has to do with the white tea!
