Face-Saving Foods


If you are coping with any of the skin problems below, dietary changes can help you heal from the inside out.

  • Acne: eat lots of foods rich in vitamin A and beta-carotene, such as melons, spinach and broccoli.  Stay away from processed foods.
  • Dry skin: eat foods rich in essential fatty acids such as salmon, fresh tuna and flaxseed oil.
  • Rosacea: eat lots of antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts and cantaloupe.
