I have read that dairy inflames the system. There is so much controversy ,its hard to know what to believe.I eat lots of vegetables, salads and fish..It seems vegetables(non-starchy) have the least controversy. For years i avoided nuts (all fats for that matter) and my skin was so dry everywhere it flaked.Adding a few walnuts makes my skin glow.I wonder why walnuts are not included in the challenge diet as to me they have more to offer than hazelnuts.

An fascinating discussion is worth comment. I feel that you need to write extra on this matter, it won't be a taboo subject however generally persons are not sufficient to talk on such topics. To the next. Cheers

Hi Amy. Tempeh is another great option. Beans of all varieties are also highly recommended. Look for low sodium canned options if going that route. Do add plenty of garlic, spices and fresh herbs to enhance health benefits.

Hi,
I am a strict vegetarian ( do not consume any meat/fish).
I notice I could replace the turkey/salmon with Tofu. Are there any other options ? If its beans, may I know what kind of beans and how they should be prepared.

Thanks.

Dr. Perricone recommends low fat dairy products. Some fat should be present to aid in calcium absorption.
