The key with any makeup is to wash it off every single night without exception. Everyone’s skin is different when it comes ingredients that will trigger a breakout. Generally, avoid overly perfumed and oil-based makeup formulations. Don’t be fooled by terms like “noncomedogenic” which is a designation that some makeup lines put on their products. It simply means that it products labeled as such will not clog pores, implying that it will not cause breakouts as a result. This term is completely untested and not designated or regulated by the FDA.

So what are the ingredients we should stay away from when buying makeup? I do eat on your healthy diet, and I don't drink coffee, alcohol, nor do I smoke. I sleep well and don't intake sugar/starch regularly. But I would like to know what the acne inducing makeup ingredients are. Thank you.

I agree with the anti-inflammatory lifestyle, especially diet, as a way to increase vitality and facial skin radiance.I've practiced it since 2005.But also, I have to work at keeping my hands off my face!Especially when at my computer keyboard--those hands automatically go to my chin and adjacent jaw line areas--the same areas that show congested pores, and rough and inflamed skin.
