Get your body in motion

Hoisting dumbbells may seem an odd way to firm your face, but you can’t argue with success.

Resistance training releases growth hormones, while increasing muscle mass. It lowers stress, resulting in lower levels of catabolic, destructive cortisol. For the skin, this means increased cell growth and repair and restored collagen fibers. Stronger muscles increase the body’s capacity to perform, whether it is moving, thinking, or metabolizing on a cellular level. When the cells can successfully metabolize food for energy and repair, they are better able to handle free radical development and the accompanying inflammation.

  1. speaking of body in motion, i was recently hospitalized for 3 weeks with the flu. my skin started peeling soon after being there.. and since I did not get out of bed for 11 days.. every muscle in my body hurts and i’m very weak. I have been doing some walking but i am wondering what i should be doing to help my skin… as I said earlier I’ve been using your products since 02 but i am worrying if my body muscles are weak like this, perhaps my facial ones are as well. Yesterday I ordered DMAE & Alpha Lipoic.. are there other things I should be doing for my skin? Thanks!!
