Great, easy to read and digest (no pun intended) bullet points. Common sense, easy to remember. I’m printing this out so the whole family can refer to it! Thank you for such a helpful summary!
The Perricone’s 3 Day Face Lift diet does wonders to my skin and gives it a healthy boost whenever I feel my skin and body is acting up.
Dr Perricone advises us to eat lots of fish (9/10 time a week, which means at least a fish a day).
Other than the wild salmon, he has also mentioned tuna in spring water and sardines (easy lunch alternatives). However, with the scare in mercury these days, can you please advise which kind of tuna and sardines should we take (albacore tuna? light tuna? etc)
Also, it would be very helpful to have an article regarding the kind of fish we should consume with respect to the mercury content.
Thank you
Hello,
I am so happy to hear that Dr. Perricone’s 3 Day Diet is working so well for you. That’s great!
Dr. Perricone recommends light albacore tuna, which is fine to eat a couple times a week.
There is actually a chart on page 232 in Dr. Perricone’s book, The Perricone Weight Loss Diet, that lists the average mercury levels in common seafood. I think you will find this information helpful. You can probably pick up a copy of this book at your loca library or book store, or if you wish, you can purchase online through http://www.amazon.com.
I hope this helps!
