Sowing The Seeds

Sprouted seeds are an outstanding source of many nutrients and are also rich in enzymes. Raw food enthusiasts suggest that soaking nuts or seeds in pure water for 24 hours will activate their dormant enzymes. While we are not an advocate of some grains, such as wheat, once they are sprouted they become a living, highly nutritious, anti-inflammatory food—great for topping salads or soups.
